Mark Hui, C.R.E.A.M.: “Watch out for my 3s"

Introducing Mark Hui, C.R.E.A.M’s (Crypto Rules Everything Around Me) sharpshooting point guard and Business Development & Partnership director at BC Technology Group.

Mark played as a starting five during his High School days. “I didn't choose basketball, it chose me”, - says Mark. His favorite player is Stephen Curry of the Golden States Warriors team in NBA.

Mark said “Most of my friends in Hong Kong are from battling on the court”. Through basketball, he was able to make a lot of friends. “The teams in FTBL plays hard, friendly and have the utmost respect for one another” he said.

Mark’s best game in FTBL was his game against AMTD Spider when he scored seven 3 points in one game. This was also the funniest moment for CREAM and Mark. "As we walked up to start the game, it was like SpaceJam, C.R.E.A.M. vs Monstars. I chuckled." Mark said.

Mark was most proud of the team when C.R.E.A.M. when they faced AMTD Spider. "We were down by 16 points at the half but we kept chipping away as a team, scoring 19 points in the third and 12 in the fourth respectively."  Mark said proudly.

C.R.E.A.M was able to come through a tough game and didn't put their heads down. " During the game, the team kept chanting "Bitcoin20K" as their cheer.

BODL was the most challenging team that his team faced. Leslie Angelo Lee of BODL was the toughest player to guard in the league for Mark.

Playing for FTBL has given him more opportunity to meet people within the FinTech industry who plays the game as hard as he does.

Leslie Angelo Lee. He's a crafty player.

Which team do you consider is the best team in FTBL?
AMTD - pro team.

If you could play with another player from another team in one team, who would it be?
Jack Liu from BODL. He's a scorer and passer, playing with him has always been fun.

Other than your team, which team do you follow in FTBL?
BODL. I know a lot of the players on the team so it's fun talking about the FTBL before games.

What moment during any games were you most proud of?
I'm proud of my teammates each and every game. They show up, fight hard and enjoy every minute of being on the team.

What can you say about your coach?
Kenny Chang - he never gives up, is fair and can really ball as well.  

What is your advice to all the players in the league?
‍-Watch out for my 3's. Don't get lost in my sauce (crossovers)!
